Mini girls night in

I LOVE having a little time with girlfriends to chat and just be.

Tonight, we hosted a poker night for a husband of a girlfriend who just had their first child. The boys came over and brought diapers for the new dad and I got to go over and spend time with the new mom, my friend.

It was great to hang for a bit and it scared me to remember what chaos awaits us in that first several weeks of having a newborn again. Our memories are kind to us and allow us to forget so easily. Her little man is precious and sweet...and he is going through a growth spurt or something b/c he won't let her put him down for even a second. Bless their hearts...I hope they all get some sleep tonight!
